Meet Amrita Rao’s sister - Preeta Rao

Preeta Rao is not a new name in the entertainment industry. Apart from being the sister of charming actress Amrita Rao, Preeta is a model and qualified journalist. Now, the beautiful, petite babe has decided to step into the world of movies debuting with a south flick titled ‘Rakthaksha’.

However, Preeta’s ultimate destination is Bollywood and she feels that South Indian cinema can prove to be a learning place for her where she can improve her talents.

Preeta hails form the Chitrapur Saraswat Bhramin Community. Born and Educated in Mumbai Prita Graduated from Sophia College Majoring in History. Preeta Rao also studied “Advertising” in College and was a topper in her class.

Preeta’s career in Modeling took off when she was selected in an Audition from over 200girls in Mumbai, Pune and Delhi for the Cadburys Dairy Milk Tv Commercial opposite the Bollywood Super Star Amitabh Bachchan. In the span of 3years Preeta Rao has endorsed over 60brands all over India, Pakistan and Bangladesh on her own merit.
